My sister Patty also had another comment about my book, DEAR ELVIRA. She said, "I laughed a few times." She enjoyed the fact that I had the main character, Matt Joplin, graduating from high school in Amherst, Texas. Amherst High School is where the Davis clan graduated from. I say clan because there were so many of us. I only have six children so they are my "tribe." I  feel blessed to have a wonderful husband, six children, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, my sisters, Patty and Sheria and my brother Bill to encourage me. I was number ten of eleven children so I have many happy memories. Life is sweet.
