I wanted to attach the picture of my book cover for Why Mary Beth Why to this blog, but for some reason I am not having much success. I will ask for help and get it posted soon. I am so proud of this book, it stemmed from a dream. More about it later.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. I will, I am not a quitter.

Hello, I posted the cover of my next book on my face book author page. Why Mary Beth Why  will not be released until July 17. On that day I will post the first chapter here. I had a tiring day today.  took Walter to have his eyes examined. We had a long wait. Walter lost his right phferial vision when he had a stroke in 1998. He doesn't let it bother him. I love that man.

It is a beautiful sunny day in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I took my husband Walter to the lipid clinic for his checkup today. I am feeling frustration. He is watching the food he eats, takes his medication and is now getting the exercise he needs working in his garden, but his cholesterol level stays the same. What am I doing wrong? I try my hardest to give him the proper care he needs, but it doesn't seem to help. He has to take a low dosage of the cholesterol medication, he gets pain in the calves of his legs. Anyone have any ideas?

I hope each and everyone of you had a pleasant Father's Day. I made spaghetti and meatballs for my tribe. that was simple enough, I made the spaghetti sauce, meatballs an baked a cake on Saturday. Sunday was spent enjoying the company. Then when dishwashing time rolled around, I remembered why I didn't like spaghetti dinners. Too much mess. Next get together it will be turkey, baked beans and salads.
Sorry I have been so lax in writing on my blog. I have just been lax in writing. I need to discipline myself, my excuse is that I am trying to think of ways to promote my eBook's. I would appreciate any ideas anyone may have.

The rain last night and today will certainly help our garden grow. I sure picked nice plants. Both the tomato and pepper plants are blooming. Yesterday Walter bought himself a new hoe and went right to work weeding the garden. I am so glad he now has a project to keep himself busy. Busy hands are happy hands, but then he is just happy being alive and as able as he is. God has been good to us.

The rain we are getting is certainly good for our garden. My husband Walter at the age of 81 still enjoys gardening. He had a stroke in 1996 that left him with the loss of his right phferial vision. As a result of this he no longer can drive a car, go hunting and he quit bowling and fishing. I am grateful that he still enjoys gardening. He is till a strong and proud man. He is happy to be alive and never complains. He is also brave, he has put up with me for 58 plus years,
